This is a short post inspired by the birds that are in my background scheme and the birds singing outside here.
About my birdie: It is a hand drawn art in Winsor & Newton Calligraphy Ink on Canson Aquarelle paper. Measures 16 by 21 cm, so it is rather small drawing, also it is not too complex. What type of species is I really don't know, but I am really happy how the tail came out and the wing, which is rather blurry on the picture.

Same here, I do things like that to calm myself... but it's not very good when they distract me from learning for exams... :-D :-/
I know! It is the same with me. I get the urge to paint every time when I have a ton of work to do...
